On Thursday, 28th April 2016, Vice Rector Prof. Dr. Nguyen Tien Giang had a meeting with the delegation of experts from the Sembcorp Company, Singapore leading by Mr. Chong Choon Woon.
Sembcorp is one of the leading corporations in energy, water, maritime and urban development. The company is intending to establish Creative Park project in Hanoi. The VNU University of Science is one of the units which was visited and worked. The aim is to find out key industrial clusters, investors relating to technology in Hanoi, plans/strategies of the Government to develop industry in the future. In particular, the delegation would like to learn the training capacity of Hanoi capital and educational institutions, including the VNU University of Science. The delegation also exchanged views and discussed on some research centres of the University, especially in the field of biotechnology and materials science.
