On Tuesday, September 12, 2017, Rector of the VNU University of Science - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi had a meeting with Prof. Taiji Totta from Hiroshima University, Japan. Accompanying were the representatives of Assoc. Prof. Le Thanh Son - Dean of Faculty of Chemistry, Assoc. Prof. Nguyen Quang Huy - Dean of Faculty of Biology and Dr. Nguyen Minh Hai - Deputy Head of Administration and International Relations Office, VNU University of Science

At the meeting, Prof. Taiji Totta would like to express his sincerest gratitude for the continued commitment of the VNU-HUS to the academic and student exchanges. Moreover, Prof. Taiji Totta has an introduction about the new student exchange program - “PEACE” Program which cooperates with universities in Asia. The PEACE program aims to educate future professional resource personnel, who will contribute to ones’ own knowledge and skills for the inclusive and sustainable development of the Asian region. Inclusive and sustainable development implies that all people in Asian society will receive benefits from the development of nations and societies in the region, with those nations using various resources effectively and efficiently.
Furthermore, two sides have also discussed more about further develop academic exchanges and collaboration in Chemistry and Biology in the future.
At the end of the meeting, the Rector of VNU University of Science thank for the exchanged information and strongly support for the educational program and the cooperation between two universities.
