On Friday, 6 January 2016, the Rector - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi had a meeting with the delegation from Kyoto University led by Prof. Dr. Hiroyasu Ohtsu - Vice Dean of Graduate School of Engineering, Kyoto University. Accompanying were the representatives of Prof. Dr. Tachikawa, Dr. Matsushima, Ms. Handa, along with Prof. Dr. Mai Trong Nhuan - Director of the VNU Key Laboratory of Geoenvironment and Climate Change Response, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Vuong - Dean of Faculty of Geology, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Do Minh Duc - Head of International Relations & Administration Office, VNU University of Science.
At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Hiroyasu Ohtsu had an introduction about the 2nd phase of the Project on “International Program on Resilient Society Development under Changing Climate”. The project has been established as an international education exchange platform in the Southeast Asia.
Two sides have also discussed more about the upcoming symposium in Kyoto in March 6th, 2017 and the education program for “Two - directional short-term study abroad program” in 2017.
