VNU University of Science in arms with the India’s best university in skill development

On August 9th, Prof. Dr. Phan Tuan Nghia - Vice Rector of VNU University of Science, on behalf of its governing board, received a delegation from AISECT, an Indian education network, on its quest to prospective partner.

delegation led by Mr. Vijay Kumar, vice director of international cooperation, and professor, doctor Sudeshna Ray, dean of Chemistry faculty, director of luminescent material project. Accompanying the delegation, there are representatives of Ministry of Science and Technology, Vietnam, and Embassy of Vietnam in India, and VNU department of Cooperation and Development.

At the function, the two sides discussed about the agenda on cooperation in the field of natural science, information technology, aerospace, energy, etc. AISECT and HUS considered their top priority is research and laboratories. They also mentioned about funding undergraduates and postgraduates.

The session opened up opportunities that is possible to take advantage of when they team up. AISECT was awarded prestigious commendations from India, such as: India best skill training award 2014; The best private institution in India 2014; Best skill training school at the Indian Education Summit 2015.

Founded in 1985, AISECT constituted of AISECT University and DR.C.V Raman University. Its network expanded over 23000 centres at district level across 27 states and 3 Union Territories as well as offices in over 30 cities with the total number of student above 1.9 million.

It is the main partner of National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) to train 1.3 million candidates in the next 10 years. AISECT provided courses for undergraduate, postgraduate in the field of economic, IT, civil construction, electronic,…

AISECT had partnered with universities from The US, Germany, Korea, Taiwan, Ukraine, etc formed scholarships targeting foreign and native student. It established an online learning network with the largest number of course in India.
