Peace in the air between the two countries Vietnam - Laos 55th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations (5-9-1962 - 5-9-2017) and 40 years of signing the Treaty of Friendship and Cooperation (18 / 7/1977 - 18/7/2017), the VNU University of Science in general and the HCM Communist Youth Union in VNU University of Science in particular are very honored held a meeting with the delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union in the program "Follow the leader's footsteps" (President Ho Chi Minh, President Cayxon Phomvihan and President Xuphanuvong) in 2017.
The delegation of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union led by Mr. SamLan PhanKhaVong- Member of the Central Standing Committee of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union, Secretary of the Youth Union of Ministry of Education and Sports accompanied by representatives of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union.
The meeting also had the representatives of Central Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union, Mr. Nguyen Binh Minh - Member of the Central Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the School Youth Union in Central Youth Union; Mr. Nguyen Hai Minh - Member of the Central Executive Committee, Deputy Head of the International Department, Deputy Director of organizing program; representatives of Hanoi Youth Union - Mr. Ngo Van Thien- Standing member, Head of school youth committee, Vice-President of Student Union in Hanoi; representatives of VNU University of Science - Vice-Rector- Assoc. Prof. Sc. Dr. Vu Hoang Linh.
Speaking at the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Sc. Dr. Vu Hoang Linh emphasized the close and strong relationship between 2 countries Vietnam-Lao. Moreover, Vice- Rector of VNU University of Science shared that at the address 19 Le Thanh Tong, where the meeting was holding, is the location that the President Xuphanuvong studied and enlightened revolutionary. In that historic moment, Vice Rector hopes the meeting would enrich the friendship between the two countries, contributing to this solidarity.
Thanks to the lectures of the VNU University of Science, Mr. SamLan PhanKhaVong shared that the VNU University of Science is a prestigious University with a long history of study and research that educated many well-known leaders, including President Xuphanuvong. The representative of the Lao People's Revolutionary Youth Union would like to sincere thanks to Communist Party of Vietnam and lectures of VNU-HUS have fostered friendship, solidarity between the two countries.
The relationship between the two countries is laid out by President Ho Chi Minh, President Caysone Phomvihan and President Xuphanuvong, who are the foundation for successive generations and people of the two countries. Experiencing many challenges, the relationship has been concluded is a model relationship, loyal, rare in the international relations; is a normative relationship; is a guarantee for the success of each nation's revolutionary cause and an invaluable common asset of both peoples.
