To enhance institutional cooperation and further promotion of high quality human resource cultivation for Lao PDR and the Kingdom of Cambodia, VNU University of Science delegation led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi, with the companion of Prof. D.Sc. Nguyen Van Mau - Chairman of Science and Education Council, and heads of functional offices, met and negotiated with the National University of Laos (NUOL) and Royal University of Agriculture, Cambodia (RUA).

On April 25th, 2017, VNU University of Science and Faculty of Science of NUOL had reached an agreement on high quality postgraduate and graduate education; joint research and organizing workshops in the area which both share mutual interests.
On April 27th, at Phnom Penh, VNU University of Science and RUA had signed an agreement on high quality training in the field of biology and biotechnology; joint research and workshops on agriculture and biotechnology.
