Strenghthening the ties with National Central University, Taiwan

On the 24th October 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Sc. Vu Hoang Linh, Vice-rector of VNU University of Science (HUS) received the delegation from National Central University, Taiwan (NCU).

On the 24th October 2017, Assoc. Prof. Dr.Sc. Vu Hoang Linh, Vice-rector of VNU University of Science (HUS) received the delegation from National Central University, Taiwan (NCU). The heads of International Relation office, and of faculty members of HUS: Mathematics – Mechanics – Informatics, Physics, Biology, Geology and Environmental Sciences, also joined him.

The NCU delegation had Dr. Hsieh-Lung Hsu – Vice-rector for international affairs and the heads of Business Administration office, Research and Development office, and of faculty members: Mechanics – Informatics, Physics, Biology, Geology and Environmental Sciences.

At the premise, both sides introduced and shared information of both universities and general affairs. Afterwards, the leaders exchanged on each faculty and the possibility to cooperate in the future. The session opened up positive ways to cooperate at faculty and university level.

NCU is the leading university of Taiwan. Established in 1915, NCU excelled in the field of technology, film, culture, physics, space science, astronomy, optical fiber, nanotechnology, economy,… NCU’s school members are diversified, such as: College of Liberal Arts, College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Biomedical Science and Engineering, College of Earth Sciences, College of College of Hakka Studies.

Other than NCU, HUS also has prosperous relations with Taiwan universities, most recently with National Chiao Tung University.
