Rector of VNU University of Science’s trip to Hamburg, Germany

In the beginning of May, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi - Rector of VNU University of Science, visited partner universities in Hamburg, Germany.

In the beginning of May, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi - Rector of VNU University of Science, visited partner universities in Hamburg, Germany.

On the 2nd of May, at the opening of the Rohan Catalysis, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Van Noi presented his report on “Green Growth and Sustainable Development in Vietnam - Challenges and Opportunities”, which focused on most controversial issues of Vietnam, namely economic development, infrastructure technology, the role of human’s knowledge, international cooperation in integration and development. His report received favorable comments from the audience.

During the workshop, the Rector signed a MOU with University of Rostock and Leibniz Institute for Catalysis (LIKAT).

On May 4th, the Rector and his delegation was warmly welcomed by Hamburg University of Applied Science (HAW Hamburg) led by Prof. Franz Schubert, Prof. Jens Ginzel and Prof. Stefan Lehamnn - Faculty of Engineering & Computer Science. At the visit, both sides have discussed on cooperative partnerships and exchanged about an official MOU in the near future. Then they had a chance to visit the head quarter of HAW Hamburg and Center for Demand Side Integration (C4DSI). Prof. Dr.-Ing. Hans Schäfers, the director of C4DSI introduced to them the “Competence Centre for Renewable Energies and Energy Efficiency" (CC4E) of HAW Hamburg.
