CFLD delegation included Mr. Chong Joon Woon - Vice President, Strategic Planning and Investment Promotion, Mr. Shinichi Shito - Executive Director, Strategic Planning and Investment Promotion, Mr. To Cam Huy - Head of Business Development at Vietnam, Mr. Dao Hung Tien - Director of Business Development at Hanoi, and Mr. Nguyen Cao Ninh, Head of International Relation.
The first session unfolded the bright prospects of cooperation in the field of Life Science and Biological Technology, facilitating CFLD’s New Industry Cities. Both sides determined on completing the detailed plans on long and short term investment to move on the memorandum of understanding.

Sharing the idea behind the endeavor to VNU University of Science, Mr. Chong Joon Woon placed great trust on the role and ability of a top research university of Vietnam as VNU University of Science. The Vice President revealed that his company had been working on the big project - Hoa Lac Hi-tech Park, and gathering resources to provide and invest in it. Favored by the Government, The project attracted massive flows of capital.
On behalf of the university and KLEPT, Prof. Dr. Phan Tuan Nghia answered, shared info on topics that CLFD concerns. He lauded CFLD’s projects and showed his confidence about the university’s competence.

With the total value up to 36 billion USD, CFLD is among 50 top corporations of Asia. CFLD is one of the leading industry city operators in Asia, Europe, North America, and Africa, including more than 60 new industry cities over 14 countries, namely Singapore, China, Indonesia, India, Vietnam, Malaysia, The US, Egypt, Myanmar, Philippines, Thailand, Germany, Finland, and South Korea. Its staff consists of about 1000 professors, doctors on high-tech worldwide.

In Vietnam, the corporation had run its business on new industry city at Ong Keo Industrial Park, spreading over 1000 hectare since late 2016.
KLEPT is a research center of HUS, subsidized by the Government on research equipment. Other than research, the center works closely with the Faculty of Biology to conduct human resource training and providing services to its partners in the field of biology and biological technology.
