On behalf of Chungnam National University, there were Prof. Dr. YU Jaehyung, Director of the International Collaboration Task Force Team, and representatives from the College of Natural Sciences and the College of Medicine.
On behalf of VNU-HUS, there were Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngac An Bang - Vice Rector of the University, leaders of the Department for Cooperation & Development and leaders of the Faculties of: Physics, Biology, Geology.

At the beginning of the meeting, Dr. YU Jaehyung, Director of the International Collaboration Task Force Team, gave an overview of Chungnam National University and the College of Natural Sciences. He also briefed on scholarship programs (over 60% of current students receive at least one scholarship during their studies). Chungnam National University in general and the College of Natural Sciences, Chungnam National University in particular always offer various scholarship and support programs to meet different needs of students including language courses, skills training, support for academic research exchange and publication home and abroad.

Being impressed by the role Chungnam National University in managing the Korean Government's scholarship fund, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngac An Bang, Vice Rector of VNU-HUS, hoped that this role would enable them to bring more study and research opportunities to international students.
With the long established relationship between the two universities, Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ngac An Bang hoped that cooperation ties would be strengthened and various joint activities would be promoted, especially those related to providing exchange scholarships for students (from 6 months to 1 year), offering research cooperation programs for lecturers and researchers or organizing international conferences...
Also within the framework of the meeting, the representative of Chungnam National University, Korea had a time to meet with students of VNU-HUS, where Prof.Dr. YU Jaehyung once again briefed on the University's highlights as well as attractive scholarship programs for students. Those students interested in the training programs and scholarships of the College of Natural Sciences, Chungnam National University had the opportunity to inquire in person with leaders of the relevant faculties.
