On Saturday, 19 November 2016, the Faculty of Physics, VNU University of Science solemnly celebrated 60th anniversary years and receive the First-class Labor Order.
Attending the ceremony were Prof. Dr. Nguyen Dai Hung - Chairman of Vietnam Association of Physics; Prof. Dr. Nguyen Huu Du - Chairman of the Vietnam Mathematics; Assoc. Prof. Dr. Nguyen Hoang Hai - Vice President of VNU, representatives of institutes and universities, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Vu Hoang Linh - Vice Rector of the VNU University of Science and the generations of lecturers, students of the Faculty.

During 60 years of construction and development, the Faculty of Physics has always been one of the leading institutions of the country in Physics. The Faculty has trained thousands of Bachelors, Masters in Physics and nearly 150 PhDs.
Recognizing the outstanding achievements, the Faculty of Physics has been honored the First- class Labor Order.
Speaking at the ceremony, Vice Rector of the VNU University of Science - Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sc. Vu Hoang Linh congratulates the results, achievements, and significant contributions of the staff, lecturers and students of the Faculty of Physics. He expects that staff, lecturers and students from the Faculty of Physics will continue promoting the noble traditions to achieve excellent results in training and research in the coming years.
