On December 5, 2023, the results of the QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2024 for 1,403 higher education institutions worldwide were announced.
In this year’s QS Sustainability Rankings, VNU was placed in the world’s top 781-790 out of a total of 1,403 participating higher education institutions (with 418 higher education institutions from Asia - accounting for 30%) – an increase of 703 institutions compared to the first QS World University Rankings: Sustainability 2023.
The results of the QS Sustainability Rankings 2024 show a significant contribution of VNU to the building of a sustainable environment and society with its Environmental Impact and Social Impact performances ranked 725th and 716th respectively. Furthermore, VNU’s environmental training and employer reputation were highly appreciated. More importantly, that VNU’s Knowledge Exchange ranked 453rd - the highest ranked performance of VNU, shows a strong impact of VNU’s research cooperation on a variety of domestic and foreign research partners as well as the spread of its teaching and research results to the academic community in particular and society in general.
The QS Sustainability Rankings aims to evaluate the higher education institutions that contribute to solving Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) issues through their research, teaching, governance and community service activities to promote sustainable development and ensure that successive generations are educated about the importance of sustainable development goals.
