Vietnam delegation had 3 in 4 contestants who won medals, in which 2 Gold medals and a Silver medal.
The 48th International Chemistry Olympiad 2016 was held in Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia. A total of 75 countries and territories attended the competition with 280 contestants.
Scores of Vietnamese candidates who won Medals are highly ranked in the competition. Specifically, Dinh Quang Hieu retrieved 89.764 points, ranked at 7/280. Nguyen Khanh Duy got 86.116 points, ranked at 16/280 contestants. Nguyen Thanh Trung got 79.212 points, ranked at 38/280 contestants.
